Boehringer Ingelheim recognizes the innovation taking place across communities and wishes to share its success with those reaching for the same goals. There are three different types of financial support for organizations or activities that attempt to increase access to medical care, improve science and math education, enhance local communities or develop approaches to the management of disease. Please read the following descriptions to determine which type of support would best fit your endeavor. Click on the links below to find out more about applying for financial support from Boehringer Ingelheim. Charitable Donations: Organizations or associations that are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code can apply to receive a charitable donation from the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation, Inc. These organizations must be consistent with the Foundation’s mission to provide access to medical care for those in need, enhance science and math education and improve the communities in which we live and work. Educational/Medical Grants: Requests to fund research or an academic activity might be eligible for a grant from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The activity must relate to the following therapeutic areas: Respiratory, Neurology, Cardiovascular, Virology and Urology. Sponsorships: Events or activities conducted by an association or organization where Boehringer Ingelheim receives some benefit (e.g. tickets to a fundraising event) in return for its support may qualify for a sponsorship from Boehringer Ingelheim. These events should be consistent with Boehringer Ingelheim’s goal to improve healthcare or healthcare education.
